Abstract
The bachelor thesis is focused on the problem of sensing the process of abrasive water jet cutting using a triaxial force sensor. Briefly describes the potential of this device for the qualitative measurement of the cutting process. For steel and rock cuts, measurements are performed to verify the reliability of the generated values and the waveforms. The results are confronted with the relevant theory describing the abrasive water jet. The shortcomings are summarized, new hypotheses are proposed, and further procedure is described to improve the understanding of the measured signals.
