Abstract

The thesis is focused on the efficiency of the process of biological wastewater treatment plant to eliminate phenol pollution in DEZA Inc. The theoretical part is a brief description of phenol compounds, its impact on humans and the environment. The technological part is focused on describing the existing technology removal of phenol contamination, resulting in companies during the manufacturing process. The practical part is devoted to laboratory work, determination of phenols using the p - nitroaniline, determination of chemical oxygen consumption by using the permanganate and subsequent evaluation of the effectiveness of the biological wastewater treatment plant aimed to remove the phenols.
