Abstract

Supervisor: Ing. arch. Igor Krčmář, Ph.D. The subject of this bachelor's thesis is the preparation of project documentation for the new construction of a multifunctional building in Ostrava. The building, featuring one underground and five above-ground floors, is designed as a monolithic reinforced concrete structure. The ground floor houses a café with a recessed covered entrance, while the remaining above-ground floors serve as administrative spaces. The foundation of the building is designed on a reinforced concrete foundation slab utilizing a "black bathtub" waterproofing system made of modified bitumen membranes. Due to the close proximity of historical buildings, special vertical shoring of the construction pit is implemented. The building envelope consists of a ventilated facade with fiber-cement panels, which is complemented by an exterior shading system. The building is covered by a flat roof featuring extensive greenery.
