Abstract

This bachelors thesis deals with the use of wireless communications in consumer and household electrical engineering and wireless transmission of information from one facility to another. In each chapter is an information about types of wireless paths, with a focus on data transfer in the electromagnetic spectrum of radio waves and infrared radiation, then radio and infrared communications. There is a description of wireless remote control for audio-visual systems with an overview of products belonging to category telemetry and automation systems, using wireless communications. Basic information with an overview of the manufacturers and suppliers of wireless systems are included as well. One part of this work is the comparison of multi-supplied components of wireless control systems.
