Abstract
The thesis focuses on the identification and adjustment of untreated operating conditions in the SmartFactory line. This line is mainly used to support the education of students in the Department of Cybernetics and Biomedical Engineering and also to demonstrate modern industrial automation technologies. The production cycle contains many software bugs that prevent the production line from running without interuptions and safely. The thesis describes a procedure for identifying untreated line operating conditions, analyzing them and proposing modifications. The procedure is also presented for implementing modifications that resolved problems with initialization of the production line, resetting automatic sequences, correcting functional safety, eliminating unwanted error messages, and modifying automatic processes. As part of the thesis, a safety radar sensor from Leuze was integrated into the SmartFactory production line. All the modifications made led to a higher level of reliability of the automatic mode of the production line, expanded the possibilities of diagnosis by the operator and automated sequences within the initialization of individual workstations.
