Abstract
The Thesis deals with the characteristics of long-term investment. It also look stocks, real estate and gold in more detailed. The individual instruments are then examined for their long-term yield. These findings are used in creating various investment portfolios based on its level of risk. At the end of the thesis, the findings about the properties of investigated instruments are formulated and made into the recommended investment strategies.
