Rozvoj stávající organizační kultury ve vybrané organizaci

Abstract

This bachelor thesis is dedicated to the topic of organizational culture and its further development. The aim of this thesis was to analyze and evaluate the organizational culture in the selected organization and to propose recommendations for its maintenance and development. A family-owned organization operating in the catering industry was selected for the research. The object of interest was to assess the impact of family characteristics on the overall culture of the organization. The research included a standardized questionnaire according to the theory of Harrison and Handy followed by a semi-structured interview and was used to check the results from the questionnaire. From the data collected, a SWOT analysis was compiled to evaluate selected aspects of the organizational culture. Subsequently, recommendations were made based on the research conducted which the owners of the organization can use to maintain, build and develop their organizational culture.
