Cezhraničná spolupráca v Karpatskom euroregióne

Abstract

The aim of this Diploma Thesis is to focus on the cross-border cooperation between regions in EU and to introduce the position of the Carpathian Euroregion and the involvement of this euroregion to the programs of the cross-border cooperation. The following main task of the thesis is to analyze cross-border cooperation programmes, which are realized in the Carpathian Euroregion.

The Diploma Thesis is divided into the five chapters. The second chapter focuses on characteristic of cross-border cooperation in Europe. The third chapter introduces Carpathian Euroregion itself, its function and objectives. The fourth chapter deals with the involvement of the Carpathian Euroregion to the programmes of cross-border cooperation in the period 1994 – 2013. It aims to conduct the implemetation of operational programmes presented means for realization the projects focus on support of economic and social cooperation, increasing of competitive advantage and environment protection.
