Porovnání výkonnosti bank v České republice a Slovenské republice

Abstract

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to compare the performance of banks in Slovakia and the Czech Republic in the monitored period 2013-2015 through indicators of bank profitability, liquidity, productivity, capital adequacy and bank balance sheet structure. The work is systematically divided into five chapters, the first is the introduction and the last is the conclusion. In the second chapter we characterize the basic concepts and the development of the Slovak and Czech banking sector. For each sector, we chose 3 the most powerful banks for the assessment in the practical part. The third chapter includes the basic terminology of statements, from which we obtained information for the analysis and the methodology of the selected indicators. The fourth chapter contains the practical part, ie analysis of selected banks. On the basis of the monitored indicators, the reader should get an idea of the financial stability of a specific bank. The company's net profit, total assets and liabilities, as well as the size of the loans provided to clients.
