Abstract

This work focuses on the issue of electrical protection in industrial company. The introduction introduces the problem of electrical protection in industry, defines basic terms, and outlines the significance of this issue. The work deals with a theoretical analysis of short-circuit currents and their calculation. Subsequently, it deals with the replacement and proper dimensioning of low-voltage distribution feeders in the industrial company due to the condition of these feeders. The analysis of the current state includes evaluating the operation of protective devices. It is based on the assumption that the current state of the low-voltage distribution feeders protection in the industrial company exhibits insufficient efficiency and safety. The aim of my work is to propose and implement new protective devices that comply with current standards. The intention is to achieve the optimization of economically sizing fuses and cables. The proposed solutions should eliminate existing deficiencies and bring significant improvements in the area of safety. The results of this work will provide specific recommendations for optimizing securing in an industrial company, with the new solutions correspond to the current technological and normative standards in the field of electrical engineering.
