Abstract
The aim of the work is to evaluating the effectiveness of investment in ArcelorMittal Ostrava. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part deals with the characteristics of a general theory of investment activities, evaluation of investment efficiency and methods used. The practical part focuses on the analysis of the investment itself, its evaluation and following recommendations for its implementation.
