Obchodní protekcionismus mezi USA a EU

Abstract

The European Union and the United States of America are important subjects within the globalized world trade. They are also important to each other, which proves the high share of bilateral trade in the total trade of both. In the relationship, there are protectionist measures though, which are slowing down the interconnection of the EU and the USA, that could bring the higher prosperity of the population of both. Even though the form of protectionist measures has changed in the last decades, they are still the negative aspect of the bilateral trade, which prevents liberalization and subsequent growth of cooperation in other fields of common. The protectionist measures remain being the negative aspect of the relationship of the EU and the USA even though the usage of them had no essential effect of the bilateral trade of both.
