Abstract

The purpose of this thesis was to analyze how the Czech consumers behave on the tea market. We were trying to find out their personal preferences regarding the tea consumption and what influences their decision making and the purchase of tea. Through a survey, we collected important data for the analysis. Besides other things, the results of the research showed that the sheer majority of Czechs drinks tea. There are also differences in the consumer behavior on the tea market based on sex, age, economical status, profession and other characterstics of the respondents. Thanks to the results of the analysis we were able to suggest recommendations for producers and sellers on the Czech tea market.
