Exkurze po peřejích údolím řeky Ostravice

Abstract

This thesis is focused on giving information about geological and other interesting localities in surroundings of Ostravice River and its drainage basin. The first part is oriented in geological, geo-morphological, hydrological, climatic, botanical and zoological description of the nature through which Ostravice River flows. It is emphasised on geological and natural conditions, because they have the most influence on these localities. It gives more detailed information about each of these localities. The biggest attention is aimed to the rapids that shape in the Ostravice River on the geological basis. As a part of this thesis is also included a one-day trip throughout all the most interesting places of this area.
