Abstract

This Diploma Thesis is treating the matter of internal audits in the engineering company Mesa Parts s.r.o – subsupplier especially for the automotive industry. First part of this Thesis is describing the company development within the rules of internationaly owned company, the range of products, production technology and equipment. Next theoretical background is defining the quality management system, the importance of auditing activities, the relationship of internal to external audits, specificities in auditing system/process/product. The practical part is presenting current audit methods within Mesa Parts s.r.o. and results of particular audits in last three years. It consists also a quality management evaluation based on the results of external audits. The rating of internal auditing activities is globaly positive and shown in its successfull business outcomes as well as in the good-will Mesa Parts. This Diploma Thesis is offering certain adjustments of internal process procedure and the function of auditor.
