Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with issue of the present lack of using multimodal transport for fire containers transportation by fire protection units. The thesis also determines whether there are some legislative and normative requirements in this issue. The diploma thesis verifies the suitability of transport modes for transportation of forces and equipment from the place of fire brigade dislocation to place of incident, especially according to the distance and the need to use the appropriate transport infrastructure. There si also designed the construction concept of selected containers for their possible transport by helicopter. In conclusion there are determined requirements for establishing methodical procedures for usage of helicopter to transport firefighting equipment.
