Abstract

The aim of this bachelor’s thesis is to select the most suitable vehicle insurance from the current offer on the insurance market in the Czech Republic, based on the requirements of a specific subject, using selected methods of multi-criteria analysis. The thesis is divided into six chapters, including the introduction and conclusion. The second chapter deals with basic concepts of non-life insurance and vehicle insurance, including third-party motor insurance, collision insurance, and additional insurance. The third chapter focuses on multi-criteria decision-making and selected methods for evaluating options. The fourth chapter includes an analysis of the vehicle insurance market in the Czech Republic, and a comparison of insurance companies offers. The fifth chapter presents the application of multi-criteria methods in selecting a specific insurance product and determining the most suitable option.
