Abstract
In the presented study is processed the use of process fluids in machining processes that
brings both advantages and some disadvantages. They are usually associated with
contamination of the work environment and have bad health effects on the operator of the
machine. The first section describes the requirements, characteristics and use of process
fluids in production and it describes what it actually serves to. The next section describes
the types of pollution of process fluids, cleaning and subsequent return into the circulation.
In conclusion, the study describes the disposal of these fluids and negative effects on the
working environment and human health.
