Abstract

The subject of the diploma thesis is the analysis of the process of selection and adaptation of the employees at Huisman Konstrukce, Ltd. and proposal of changes, which will lead to the elimination of identified deficiencies and to the improvement of these essential personnel activities. The theoretical part introduces the basic concepts of this issue. The practical part is focused on Huisman Konstrukce, Ltd. In the beginning there are analyzed current processes. The following part represents research, which was carried out by the methods based on the questionary, standardized interview and personnel observation. At the end of thesis there are suggested changes in the selection and adaptation process based on provided data. These changes will lead to improvement of the quality and bigger efficiency of these important personal activities.
