Abstract

My thesis deals with the function and processing of the Fire rescue service database. It focuses on the datas of the period 2006-2010 from the Moravian-Silesian region. The theoretical part of the thesis clarifies the terminology and legal standards associated with the juridical environment that is related to statistical monitoring of events. It also introduces a brief characteristic of the Moravian-Silesian region. Further, the thesis describes potential foreign and domestic sources of the analysis of extraordinary events. The theoretical part of the thesis then also describes the principles of statistical monitoring of events and explains the most important terminology presented in the statistical monitoring of the events. The practical part of the thesis describes the results of the processed Fire rescue service database and then it closes with the evaluation of the processed results.
