Návrh úpravy křižovatky Pasteurova - Jeremenkova v Olomouci

Abstract

The theme of the diploma thesis is a proposal for modification of the intersection Pasteurova – Jeremenkova in Olomouc City. The main objective is modification of the current cross-intersection into a roundabout intersection and solution of pedestrian and cycling transport. The thesis includes traffic-engineering calculations. A traffic research was realized as well as a calculation of the current intersection capacity and a prognosis of future traffic. Three final versions of intersection modification were all calculated in terms of capacity and the final version was chosen by selected criteria. Afterwards, the current intersection and the chosen version of modification were both simulated in a programme PTV VISSIM.
