Abstract

The principal aim of this bachelor’s thesis is the analysis of the current state in the field of software application development, testing, and deployment with a focus on DevOps methodologies. The thesis investigates key aspects of DevOps and the ways their use can lead to increased efficiency in software development.

The theoretical foundation of the research is based on expert literature and case studies carried out on the Microsoft Azure platform. Various technologies such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, CLI, and Docker are utilized.

The goal of this study is to provide its readers with a comprehensive overview of the possibilities offered by modern DevOps tools and how these tools can transform traditional development environments. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and practical part, the results of which are summarized in the conclusion.
