Abstract

The purpose of this thesis is to determine an influence of selected ignition sources on lower explosion limit of chosen gas-air and vapour-air explosive mixtures. First part is dedicated to a description of igniton sources and characteristics of flammable materials. The practical part is aimed on the research of selected ignition sources on VK20 and VK100 apparatuses. The results published in this thesis can be applied when assessing ignition hazard at workplaces, where flammable materials and ignition sources studied in this thesis are present.
