Abstract
The area around city of Most is one of the most famous mining area of lignite in the Czech Republic. In the cause of mining the whole surrounding countryside is changing its native character. Local quarry extraction method has several mining-technological solutions. One of them is creating of huge sand heap in open areas and shaping of completely new terrain. The Růžodolská sand heap is outer part of The Czechoslovak Army Mine. This sand heap worked from 1965 to 1995. Its average width is 1,3 km and the length is nearly 6 km. Of the total area of 760 hectares belongs 630 hectares to forestry reclamation with the road linking and on 10 hectares extend water areas. The intention of the bachelor thesis is to find the most fitting solution of revitalizing filling reclamation which is going to best integrate in the surrounding landscape which is planning to be a suburban recreation area of city Most.
