Abstract

The Bachelor's thesis focuses on the design and construction of a functional prototype model of a sliding door for a sports automobile, including its components. The aim of this thesis consists in the design of a possible solution to an unconventional door opening system for a two-door sports electromobile. The thesis provides a description of the basic types of door system designs, and a detailed description of their function principles. The thesis includes a computer 3D model of a door hinge. Additionally, the thesis describes the production of a prototype model of the door on a step-by-step basis. The attachments at the end of the thesis comprise production drawings of the individual parts of the prototype.
