Abstract

The bachelor thesis shortly describes a development of coal mining in Bohemia, Moravia and Silesia region. In detail it entraps a development of coal mining in Ostravsko, particularly in the Silesian Ostrava area. The thesis strives to inform and localize first workings, following constructions and mine‘s operations. It presents all of participating mining companies which have ever mined in the Silesian Ostrava area. The thesis describes ways how to finish mining of single mines as well as their stage in the present and security. By the way it describes a rarity Silesian private museum Keltičkova kovárna on Keltickova street in Silesian Ostrava.
