Abstract

This thesis deals with the design possibilities of extinguishing fires in the protected zone of power equipment in Czech Republic. This work describes the transmission system in the Czech Republic, furthermore it aims to identify the approach of selected transmission system operators and fire departments in the EU for the control of fire power plants and their environment. It also describes possible ways of fighting fires in the protected area overhead transmission system in relation to the safety of fire protection operating units
