Abstract
This paper deals withcollars heat treatment from 11SMnPb30 free cutting steel type, which was cold treated. Grain size, material purity, Vicker´s hardness HV30 and fracto-graphic analysis of fracture surfaces of broken collars was carried out.
In theoretical part of paper free cutting steels and heat treatments were briefly described.
