Abstract

This thesis deals with personal data protection in the business. Its aim is to create a compact view on current legislation of personal data protection in Czech republic and then compare this with personal data protection in application practise.

In the first part, historical developement personal data protection and his influence on the structure of the legislations in Czech republic are presented. There are also analyzed the different phases of privacy in business and this is the last chapter applied to the company Massag, a.s. that in the event of non-compliance with applicable laws and regulations outlined recommendations for remediation.
