Abstract
This master's thesis deals with the analysis of the geometric parameters of a dry reservoir embankment in the village of Bolatice and the subsequent modeling of the flood area using geodetic methods. The main objective was to assess the engineering usability and accuracy of the 5th generation state digital relief model (DMR 5G) in comparison with detailed terrestrial measurements performed by GNSS-RTK technology. The theoretical part defines the issue of flood protection using polders and the methodology of digital model creation. The practical part includes data collection at polder No. 1 (Důlek) using the Leica GS18 T instrument with an inertial measurement unit, processing in Autodesk Civil 3D, and statistical analysis of height deviations. The results showed that the DMR 5G model exhibits a root mean square error (RMSE) of 0.21 m in open terrain with a systematic shift of -0.14 m. These differences caused a 10% overestimation of the reservoir's retention volume when using model data. The thesis includes a simulation of flood scenarios and an innovative visualization of the results through a physical 3D model produced by FDM technology.
