Abstract

The main objective of this thesis is appraisal of the public procurement in the selected municipality. The theoretical part describes the basic concepts and processes at the public procurement. Next chapter gets along with the procurement analysis in the city of Orlová by the subject, value, type of procedure, evaluation criteria, EU funding and public auction in terms of economic savings. The final chapter contains recommendations to improve the approach at the procurement in the city, then, describes possible problems and proposals to mitigate them.
