Abstract

This thesis deals with the use of industrial explosives for disintegration of limestone, while the mining in quarries. The first part is a description of the basic laws and explains the basic concepts of this issue. Another part is focused on the extraction of limestone, including procedures for the implementation of activities related to the use of industrial explosives, as well as a summary of the hazardous materials, their properties, the assessed company. The pillar of this work is to identify risks and potential hazardous situations, which can be produced at various stages of mining of limestone. After identification and risk analysis follows the innovative design changes and their economic variations aimed at minimizing the risks of eroding rocks using explosives.
