Abstract

The use of nickel alloys is thanks to their high price often limited to a some environments. By replacing the commonly used materials of nickel alloys is achieved extending the life of the material. Nickel alloys have excellent mechanical properties and good resistance to environmental conditions. The theoretical part of diploma thesis describes nickel alloys, possibility of preparation, mechanical properties and machinability. The alloys were centrifugal casting and compacting in the hot isostatic press HIP (hot isostatic pressing). Furthermore, the mechanical properties, microhardness, porosity and phase composition in as cast state and in state after HIP were determined. Experimental samples prepared by method HIP show a lower number of internal defects and pores. Further mechanical properties were improved. It is necessary to set appropriate conditions for the HIP method in the preparation process.
