Abstract

The main aim of the thesis “Automatic transmission - electronics control of transmission system” is to compile a complete search concerning automatic transmissions using in common motor vehicles and give a description of their electronics control. The introductory part deals with a function, a development, a construction, and categories of the automatic transmissions. Then are focused on a course of gear change, electronic control, which makes sensors, control unit and the last concern with actuars. The end of the thesis deals with a concrete type of speed automatic gearbox and variable automatic gearbox, and a system Tiptronic.
