Evropská unie a boj proti terorismu

Abstract

The threat of international terrorism is in our society current security problem. The European Union tries to fight with this phenomenon by creating counter-terrorism instrumensts and measures. Efficiency will be achieved mainly through cooperation with foreign partners, and especially with its Member States. The objective of this Bachelor´s thesis is the basic characteristic of international terrorism and the fight against this threat within the European Union and the Czech Republic with an emphasis in analysis of individual forms of effect this fight. The thesis deals with the definition of international terrorism, including methods which terrorists use to achieve their goals. It also deals with individual counter-terrorism instruments and measures of the European Union and the Czech Republic. Attention is also paid to the current threat of terrorism in the Czech Republic.
