Abstract

For thermal energy are currently perspective materials, especially steel P23 and P91. Both mentioned steel excel in good high – temperature steel of creep. Different operating temperatures of individual components of thermal power plants led to the development of new types of refractory materials. In order to material and financial savings were used heterogeneous welds joint for each type P23/P91 components of thermal power plants. This work is focused on the study of failure behaviour of heterogeneous P23/P91 welds during creep. Test specimens were prepared by combination of SMAW and GTAW technologies, steel P91 filler were used. In this paper describes the results of creep tests at 500, 550 and 600 ° C. The microstructural analysis and hardness was the precise identification of creep failure and incidence of cavities.
