Abstract
This diploma thesis deals with a topic of international management, especially the influence of cultural differences on the performance of international teams. A questionnaire method was used in the research to gain insights on issues of Czech and foreign employees. In-depth interview was made with the chief sales officer to obtain an opinion of top management. At last, a questionnaire of cultural adaptability was made as a supplement to this research. Results have shown that the company is aware of potential and benefits of foreign employees, they do even use the cultural differences in the business. Nevertheless, there were gaps in the attitude of Czech employees towards their foreign colleagues, and also inadequate preparedness of all employees for business trips to other countries. These things could affect further international cooperation. To improve the aforementioned points, the company has been recommended to invest in training in international management and to prepare for business trips using specialist services.
