Abstract

This bachelor thesis is dealing with the use of RFID technology for protection of goods. It describes the RFID system, its parts and the technologies it replaces. In the theoretical part I try to explain the added value of such system during inventarization and goods-tracking in the store. In the practical part I deal with comparison of frequencies of catching thieves before and after the RFID system was introduced in the store. Another example of RFID benefit is the speed with which goods are being transfered during check-out.
