Abstract

Diploma thesis "Problems of debt in the company DIAMO" focuses on the management of debt, which means channeling claims in terms of volume, structure and time. The aim of my thesis is to analyze the management of debt in the company DIAMO, specifically focus on the analysis of the situation in ODRA branch plant, which is located in Ostrava Vítkovice. The work contains a brief description of the company, as well as theoretical solutions that address the general emergence of receivables, ensuring preventive, possible ways of recovering debts and also demise. The practical part presents an analysis of the management of debt in the company for the period 2009 - 2012. As a result of the thesis is to evaluate the state of society in the issues and presents possible suggestions and recommendations, which should lead to more efficient management of receivables.
