Využití strukturální pomoci EU v regionu soudržnosti Moravskoslezsko na příkladu vybraného projektu v programovacím období 2007-2013

Abstract

The aim of the Diploma thesis is to elaborate the project plan called Construction of bicycle paths from Ostrava – Radvanice to ZOO Ostrava which is fictional but designed on the basis of specific challenges. The project will be supported by the Regional Operational Programme Moravia Silesia. Diploma thesis is divided into three parts. The first part consists of the basic concepts of economic and social cohesion, its history, instruments, objectives, financial framework for the programming period 2007 – 2013 and more. Next chapter provides a theoretical definition of project management including project preparation. The second part focuses on EU policy ESC in the Czech Republic, Regional Operational Programme of Moravia Silesia, including its priority axes and situational analysis of the NUTS 2 region Moravia Silesia. The third part includes its own project plan. The implementation of the project plan should be to increase the living standards of the inhibitants of region. The applicant is City of Ostrava, which subsequently will also worry about the sustainability of the project. Project objectives are established in addition to strategic documents on the Concept of cycling in the region Moravia Silesia.
