This diploma thesis deals with the physical security of objects important for state defence carried out by units of active advance of the Army of the Czech Republic. For this work, an active advance unit for the Moravian-Silesian Region was specifically selected. The practical part consists of selected case studies and their comparisons, sociological research on unit readiness in certain areas and analysis of security risks on an object guarded by this unit.
