Sedimentace spodní části istebňanského souvrství

Abstract

Subject of this thesis is characteristics of flysch sedimentation in upper cretaceous sediments of Silesian unit, part of Outer Western Carpathians. Thesis deals with geological development of Silesian unit, especially Istebna formation. Then there is localization of samples, collected from deposit Bílá, situated near to confluence of rivers Černá and Bílá Ostravice. After that, litological cross section of deposit was created. Next part of thesis consists of methodology, used for elaboration of samples, powder RTG – diffraction analysis and palynological evaluation with identification of kerogen type. At the end, all samples are evaluated and interpreted according to applied methods.
