Abstract
The aim of this diploma thesis is to investigate not only in theory but also in practice the area of trade company liquidation. The main goal is to characterise the company from the legal, accounting and tax perspective according to valid legal regulations of the Czech republic. This work will investigate these theoretical characteristics on DAKSPED,Ltd. company that was already filed for bankruptcy. Consequently, the company was liquidated and receivables of its creditors have been proportionally settled from realised assets.
