Abstract
This thesis focuses on selecting the most suitable heating source for a specific building. The first
part is dedicated to the theoretical background, which serves as a foundation for the following
practical part. The practical section concentrates on the characterization of the building and
the evaluation of various heating source options in terms of investment and operating costs,
payback period, and net present value. The conclusion presents a comprehensive assessment of
each heating option and the selection of the most suitable variant for the building.
