Abstract

The bachelor´s thesis elaborates the analysis of the equipment of a Prison service officer related to the selected extraordinery events. In the introduction, the legal regulations concerning the execution of the prison system in the Czech Republic are listed. The following is an enumeration of the authorities responsible for the execution of the prison system, together with the structure and tasks of the Prison Service. The thesis also deals with a summary of the equipment of a Prison service officer and the comparison with the neighbouring states. In addition, the security threats relating to the performance of an officer of the Prison Service are analysed, evaluated and the proposals for equipment modernization are developed.
