Abstract
This diploma thesis deals with the description of communication systems used in the technique of electric drives. The thesis describes the functions, requirements, properties, execution and use of the most widely used communication systems for drive systems. Especially for drive systems with frequency converter Siemens SINAMICS S120 with control unit CU320-2 DP, which I described at work and said its communications possibilities. Part of this work are elaborated protocols to establish communication with a software tool Starter via Profinet and Profibus with Siemens frequency converter Sinamcs S120.
