Rodinný dům s dřevěnou nosnou konstrukcí v systému two by four

Abstract

This bachelor thesis focuses on the structural design and static assessment of a family house using the "two by four" timber frame system. The building is located in Bobrovníky. The thesis includes an analysis of the structural system, lateral bracing, and alternative foundation solutions considering the hydrogeological survey. The main part consists of creating a 3D computational model in FEM software, which was used for global static analysis to determine internal forces and deformations. Based on these results, the main load-bearing elements, such as wall studs, floor joists, and rafters, are designed and assessed according to current European standards for timber, concrete, and geotechnical design. The thesis also includes the structural design of selected construction details.
