Optická kontrola granulátu

Abstract

The diploma thesis describes design and realization of tester for control of plastic granulate in industrial production. This diploma thesis deals with selection and assembly of HW construction, SW environment description and SW part design and realization. The software part of the application is divided into two parts. The first part, image pre-processing, is created in the VisualApplets environment from Silicon Software and the second part is the evaluation in LabVIEW from National Instruments. Image pre-processing processes calculations on an FPGA chip on a PCIe (frame grabber) card, which ensures fast image conversion to binary for fast evaluation. The resulting product can be used in an industrial area after proper testing.
