Abstract

This thesis deals with the influence of water density on stopping variety of bullet from each one firearm used. There were short and the long one firearm used in gun selection. Some of selected firearm are being used by the security and armed forces. Semi-automatic pistol CZ 75 which was used in this experiment is one of the most common pistol used by Czech armed forces and civilians too. The firearms and ammunition are further categorized and enriched by pictures. The theoretical part of the thesis is dedicated to Ballistics and deeply describes the forces and all external effects to projectiles. The experiment describes the workplace and used equipment such as custom-made reservoir. Experiment itself is finalized by a picture full conclusion.
