Abstract

The dissertation concern with determining dislocation of the emergency medical service in the Central-Bohemian Region. There is used a model for dislocation which look at demographic conditions, riskiness of a territory and waiting time determination. Waiting time means the time since the transmission of appeal by load control centre until the crew of EMS reach a point of intervention. This time is absolutely important for success of rescue. On the present implementing legislation prescribes time 15 minutes since emergency call is received by load control centre. Presently, identification of EMS stations is very often impressed with different circumstances. There is not a standard which solve this problem. This dissertation has used a real data for analysis that was realized by EMS in the Central-Bohemian Region. A result of this analysis determinate the territories which are not gettable in time requested by law so that means not suitable dislocation of EMS stations. This model should be the base for creation a plan of area coverage. Suggested model was applied to EMS in the Central-Bohemian Region and count with expansion of stations what provide availability of crews on whole territory.
